Daksha Narsing was born and raised in Northern Rhodesia (Zambia), Africa. She studied in Poona, India and then went on to complete her education in London, England.
After Spending seven years in the U.K., Daksha married and settled in Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada. She is happily raising a family of three beutiful children with her husband Bhaskar.
With a desire to share her knowledge of true Indian cuisine, she has been teaching Indian cooking in British Columbia for 22 years. |

Daksha found the roots of some of her recipes and spice blends dating back almost 300 years to the state of Gujarat and Rajestan in India.
A long time desire to compile her recipes in a book became a reality in 1996, when she published her first cookbook "Daksha's Gourmet Spices Cookbook." In 2002 Daksha published her second cookbook "Daksha Courmet Spices Cookbook II." Now Daksha has published a third book in 2005, "Daksha's Gourmet Spices Cookbook III." This book features a variety or vegetarian dishes. |
